Rosicky not jetting off to Italy claims agent

The old joke went that Tomas Rosicky only really started playing to his full potential when his contract was up for renewal as a way of showing off what he was really worth to his current club and potential suitors.

However, what he has now appeared to have done is eliminate the whole 'playing football thing' and get himself linked with clubs despite not actually playing any games this season.

To be fair, Rosicky has been out with an Achilles injury he picked up at Euro 2012 although he is back in training and to be more fair, his agent has dismissed the rumours linking the Czech international with a move to Roma in January after the experienced playmaker has found himself further down the pecking order at the Emirates with Santi Carzorla, Jack Wilshire, Mikel Arteta, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey all also competing for central midfield berths.

In the Sky Sports article, his agent Pavel Paska completely dismisses the link and adds that Rosicky is solely focussed on getting back into the Arsenal fold and is training hard to get back into the team.

He estimates he could be back with Roma and adds that there has never been any contact with Roma whatsoever.

Which makes it all cleared up now of course, as that is how football works.
