Torres linked with Spain return

Fernando Torres may finally call time on his time in England.
According to the Daily Mail, the striker could be dropped from Chelsea's crunch Champions League clash with Juventus this evening and that could be the last straw for the once great Spanish marksman, with a move back home to Spain becoming a more distinct possibility.
It seems remarkable to believe the fanfare that surrounded Torres' move to Stamford Bridge from Liverpool in January 2011. Almost everyone to a man believed that the London team had well and truly nabbed one of the best strikers in world football.
It's even more remarkable that Torres has been anything but. Frankly, Emile Hesky had more of an impact on England matches (he of seven goals in 62 appearances) than Torres has had for Chelsea.
His supporters may point to his improved goal ratio this season and his Golden Boot award at Euro 2012 (courtesy of a whopping three goals and one assist) but surely, if the likes of Radamel Falcao are indeed available and willing to come to Chelsea, Roman Abramovich and his minions only really have one option.
If indeed Torres is to depart, so along Nando, it was good for a while, but like a Chinese takeaway, it has all too quickly turned sour.

He's returning to Liverpool on a free to get his head straight again. Rodgers is bringing in Rafa Benitez to mentor him and the other Spanish players.
