Austin’s the number one player for October

Burnley forward Charlie Austin was named October's Championship Player of the Month after his prolific month of scoring.
Austin netted 7 goals in 5 appearances and in the draw against Sheffield Wednesday it was a case of Charlie Austin 3-3 Sheffield Wednesday as his hat trick set up the foundations for a successful month for the young Englishman.
Although October has been successful for Austin the whole season so far has been a mini fairytale as he has already netted 17 times in the league in only 15 appearances. He has scored over half of Burnley’s goals this season and his tally means he is outscoring the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in their respected leagues.
For Sean Dyche the task will be to keep Austin for as long as he can. If the striker continues to impress at Turf Moor then he may start grabbing the attention of some of the teams in the Premiership.
