    QPR Search For A Hero

Sitting in the Premier League basement and still winless means Queens Park Rangers are looking for any way out of their second season nightmare.

The £22 million spent by owner Tony Fernandes has, so far, done nothing to put The Hoops in the position of safety they want to be in.

Fernandes has publically given his full backing to struggling manager Mark Hughes, but the Malaysian isn’t as willing to delve in to his pockets as before.

One last throw of the dice from Fernandes may be to bring in Nicolas Anelka to fire his club to safety.

The Frenchman is reportedly unsettled in China, playing for Shanghai Shenhua, and according to The Sun QPR will offer the striker a way back in to the big league.
