Hughton's Striker Search

Norwich manager Chris Hughton has got a new striker at the top of his Christmas list.

Hughton has seen his side hit the back of the net only 8 times in the league this season, the joint lowest alongside Sunderland, and knows if he is to keep Norwich in the top flight more firepower is needed.

Hughton is set to meet club bosses this week and when chief executive David Mcnally (dressed as Father Christmas) and ask for a proven Premier League goalscorer.

The Canaries are unlikely to break the bank in January but the Daily Mail understands Hughton is targeting Arsenal misfit Marouane Chamakh or West Ham’s Carloton Cole, both of whom are looking for first team football.
