Manchester City set sights on Suarez

Just how many strikers do Manchester City need?
Not content with their current awesome foursome of Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez, Mario Balotelli and (whisper it around him) super-sub Edin Dzeko, the Mirror are reporting that Roberto Mancini has outlined a desire to sign Luis Suarez from Liverpool in the January transfer window.
It had been thought that Radamel Falcao would be City's primary January target although the Colombian's apparent preference to move to Chelsea has seen the Suarez links emerge, with a bid thought to be in the range of around £50 million potentially tempting the Merseyside club into selling their most prized asset.
One wonders just who the PR representatives at the Etihad are. Not content with everyone more or less hating them due to their extravagent wealth, it seems taking on one of the most controversial, disliked players in the Premier League could be just what the doctor ordered.
We've been here before with City and their January transfer pursuits. Who can forget Milan's infamous "bottling" of the Kaka move?

Any team would love to have Suarez on it's side. He's about the best and most crafty players I've ever seen.
