Tudgay heads to Barnsley on loan

Barnsley have signed Marcus Tudgay on loan from Nottingham Forest today according to BBC Sport. He comes on a short term loan until January with Barnsley's manager Keith Hill hoping to acquire the English striker on a permanent basis in the next transfer window.
Tudgay has been restricted to only two appearances for Forest so far this season with his most recent appearance in August. The 29 year old clearly wants to play and with Barnsley on a four game losing streak and only scoring once during those games his additional fire power will be very welcome and hopefully the move will work out well for both parties.
Tudgay with 78 career goals will be looking to get his season back on track at Barnsley starting this Saturday when the Tykes travel to the Reebok Stadium to face Bolton.
