Berardi on the map for Europe's big guns

18 year old striker Domenico Berardi is apparently being looked at by several large clubs throughout Europe, according to Sky Sports.  If you haven't heard of him then you're probably not on your own.  The young Italian striker is currently playing for Serie B club Sassuolo where he has scored 3 goals in 10 games.  He is reportedly being followed by, amongst others, Juventus and Roma.  It is also thought that clubs in England are running their eyes over him as well.

A tug of war is emerging between Beradi's agent and Nereo Bonato Sassuolo's general director.  Beradi's agent, unsurprisingly, is decorating him with tinsel and gold leaf with the hope of inflating his price and attracting interest but Bonato is thinking of his club and the future of the player.  He said "Berardi has important qualities and certainly he deserves attention, but I think the guy has yet to grow and that Sassuolo is the right place for him to do it, we would like to keep the whole team until the end of the season, then in June we'll see."
