Wenger will betray himself in £35M Falcao swoop

Hearing in the Daily Mirror that Arsene Wenger is set to spend £35 million of his hard earned cash at Arsenal on a single player may arouse your suspicions immediately. Frankly those suspicions are shared by your writer.
When further news that Falcao's release clause stands at a hefty, but rather meagre for certain billionaire backed clubs, £50 million the revelation sounds even more unrealistic. However Arsenal are apparently currently raking in the money just like a guy in a casino greedily snatching at his winning chips.
And chairman Peter Hill-Wood has added fuel to the non-existent fire by claiming the board would support Wenger if he were to enter the transfer market any time soon. With £35million lining his pockets Arsenal might have to spend January trying to lift Mr. Wenger off the floor, as the immediate shock would certainly be too much for the thrifty French manager.
