New club for Scottish forward

There are a lot of players that always make you think they may not have fulfilled their potential in their career that their talent has perhaps demanded.
It seems a particular trait that affects creative Scottish players; Shaun Maloney and James MacFadden are two examples of this in the modern game.
Maloney has always flattered to deceive, veering from a world beater to Sunday league level in the same 90 minutes often enough.
MacFadden's affliction is so severe that he currently is without a club, but that may soon not be the case according to the Independent.
The paper reports that the 29-year-old is set to earn himself a one-year deal at Sunderland after impressing during a trial period.
The forward has been without a club since his contract expired at Everton at the end of the summer.
