Collins stays on at the Shrews

Shrewsbury Town have extended Lee Collins loan spell from Barnsley, says BBC Sport.

The 24 year old initially moved on a one month loan but having made eight appearances since the transfer the Shrews have chosen to keep him for another month.  The versatile defender, playing regularly in League One after stepping down from the Championship is a Shropshire native and I'm sure will be hoping to play against his former club Hereford United in the FA Cup First round this weekend in the A49 derby.

A historic derby that ranks along side the Derby della Madonnina at the San Siro and the Merseyside derby, the game at Edgar Street is one not to be missed.
