Madrid to offer Portugal star in Bale move

Real Madrid look set to offer Portugal international Fabio Coentrao in any deal for Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale. The Sun reports that Los Blancos manager Jose Mourinho has made the Welshman is top target in January.

The youngster has been heavily linked with a move to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, but recently signed a new long-term at White Hart Lane. However, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is still preparing for possible bids for Bale once the transfer window reopens.

Real are now ready to offer Coentrao in a deal that could be worth anything of £50m upwards, with the full-back failing to settle in Spain following his big money move from Benfica last summer.
