Spurs set to miss out on Moutinho

Tottenham Hotspur look set to miss out on the signing of FC Porto ace Joao Moutinho. The Daily Mail is reporting that big spending Paris St. Germain are set to beat the North London side in the race to secure the signature of the midfielder.

Spurs had looked set to complete a deal for Moutinho on deadline day over the summer, but having agreed a fee with Porto to secure his services, were left to rue their delay in moving for the 26-year-old after failing to agree personal terms.

A return in January had been mooted, but it looks as though PSG have stolen a march on their English counterparts and are prepared to spend big in order to bring Moutinho to France.
