Real line up De Gea move

La Liga giants Real Madrid are eyeing up David De Gea as a long-term replacement for Iker Casillas, according to the Daily Mail. The young Spaniard only arrived at Manchester United last summer in a big money move from rivals Atletico Madrid.

Real captain Casillas has previously stated that he believes De Gea is the man to replace him at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and Los Blancos are hoping to exploit the relationship they currently hold with the goalkeeper’s agent, Jorge Mendes, who also represents manager Jose Mourinho.

The young shotstopper has been forced to rotate the number one spot at United with teammate Andres Lindegaard and Real remain confident the lure of moving back to the Spanish capital will tempt De Gea into leaving Old Trafford.
