Mancini looks to Italian counterpart to sure up midfield

The days of Manchester City splashing millions on aging talent are over… or so we thought.

It seems Mancini’s desire to get Daniele De Rossi in a sky blue shirt is too much and he is preparing another bid, this time a reported €37m!

The 29-year old has participated in almost 400 games for Roma since his debut over 11 years ago, scoring just under 50 goals for the capital club.

The playmaker signed a new deal with his boyhood club last year and insisted that he wants remain there for the rest of his playing days (which means absolutely nothing in football) but after a bust up with manager Zdenek Zeman, Mancini is thinking of ways to lure him to the Etihad.
