Leeds secure deal for Southend United winger

When a chairman puts Neil Warnock in charge of first-team affairs there is an unofficial rule stating that the Yorkshire man will go on to sign every player that he has ever worked with.

So far during his Leeds tenure he has managed to smuggle in Paddy Kenny with whom he worked with at Sheffield United and Queens Park Rangers, Michael Brown who was Warnock’s pet at Sheffield United, Leigh Bromby who was signed by the gaffer back in 2004 for the Blades, and now Warnock has snapped up Southend United’s Ryan Hall who was one of his players at Crystal Palace.

I suppose if you trust ‘em, buy ‘em, eh Neil?

Perhaps a late bid for his old friend Paul Devlin isn’t out of the question just yet.
