Napoli chasing Arsenal defender

Johan Djourou is a January transfer target for Serie A side Napoli, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Arsenal centre back’s only outing this season was in the Capital One Cup demolition of Coventry City, and the 25-year-old is expected to hold talks with Arsene Wenger over the next few weeks to discuss his future amidst new interest from the Naples side.
The Switzerland international has found the ‘Vermesacker’ axis too difficult to break apart, and with Laurent Koscielny also ahead of him in the pecking order, the only I thing I can think of him actually doing at the training ground at the moment is doing kick-ups with Sebastian Squillaci trying to impress the Manager…just a thought.
Valon Behrami, Napoli midfielder and fellow Swiss international, has apparently recommended the club to Djourou, who has been subject to interest from Juventus in the past, and the Centre back may have to get used to marking a world class striker in training again.
Edinson Cavani must be licking his lips.
