Premiership rivals to battle for Sturridge

Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge looks set to leave Stamford Bridge after growing frustrated by a lack of first-team opportunities with the Blues. The Daily Mirror is claiming the England international will seek showdown talks with manager Roberto Di Matteo, having falling out of favour under the Italian.
Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have both shown an interest in the former Manchester City ace, with Sturridge keen to leave the club permanently in January. However, Chelsea are only prepared to allow the striker to go out on loan, as they prepare to move for Atletico Madrid star Radamel Falcao.
The Colombia international has been in scintillating form for the la Liga outfit, netting 11 times in seven appearances this season. His form has attracted interest from Chelsea, which could prompt the club to listen to offers for Sturridge.
