      Jol to end Arshavin nightmare

Andrey Arshavin could be set for a move across London in January, with Fulham keen to sign the Russia international on a free transfer. Footylatest.com claim the Cottagers are set to move for the Arsenal schemer, who has made just two appearances in all competitions this season.

The 31-year-old spent the latter half of last season on loan at former club Zenit St. Petersburg, where he impressed during his stint in his homeland, netting three and assisting a further four in 11 appearances.

However, Arshavin doesn’t figure in Arsene Wenger’s plans, with the Frenchman keen to rid of the midfielder. Cottagers boss Martin Jol is a big admirer of the Gunners outcast and is prepared to take a gamble on him in January, provided he can secure his signature on a free.
