Striker rules out January England switch

Robert Lewandowski has ruled out a possible switch to Manchester United and Chelsea once the transfer window re-opens. The striker is quoted in the Metro as saying that he’s a big fan of the Premiership, but has no plans to changes clubs in the New Year.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was spotted in the stands during Borussia Dortmund’s recent 1-1 draw with Manchester City, seemingly to watch the Poland international. However, the 24-year-old is adamant he is focused on his playing time with the Bundesliga champions.
The 12-time Premiership champions were strongly linked with the powerful Pole over the summer, but were not prepared to meet Dortmund’s £30m asking price. The news will also come as a blow to Chelsea, who had been keen to bolster their front-line in January.
