Suso is greatful for his first team opportunity

Liverpool's number 30 Suso has revealed how he is grateful for the opportunity given to him by Brendan Rodgers that has allowed him to become a recognised face in the Liverpool first team.

Suso stated that he is really happy in Merseyside and wants to stay here for a long time. This may come as a form of music to Rodger’s ears as he hopes to get his young players to sign new long term contracts to the club.

The young midfielder has given praise to the supporters as he feels they are hugely important to him when he plays as for a young player all they want to do is to impress, to improve their chances of becoming a regular first team player.

Rodgers showed added faith to Suso as he handed the Spaniard his first team debut in the match against Manchester Untied, not the sort of match to play badly in so there was added pressure for Suso. This didn’t bother him as he impressed the staff and supporters alike. The debut game will live long in the memory for Suso as it would with any player, and he hopes he can continue to impress and help Liverpool to pick up more results.

As well as being grateful for the opportunity to play with the likes of Steven Gerrard, Nuri Shain and Luis Suarez Suso will be extremely proud of the fact that all the hard work he has put in when playing in the youth teams has been rewarded with his latest opportunities.
