      Defensive concerns for Hughton

In their last two games Norwich City have conceded 9 goals and looking to the future it doesn’t look as though it will get any brighter as they face Arsenal a week on Saturday.

Hughton expressed his concerns after the recent 4-1 defeat to Chelsea. After that result it means Norwich have had four or more goals scored against them in at least three matches as they have also had bad results against Liverpool 2-5 and Fulham 5-1.

Agreeably Norwich are currently in a tough run of fixtures and can only hope that they don’t fall too far in the relegation zone too early in the season. The Canaries sit second from bottom and have the worse ‘GD’ in the league with -12.

Hughton is still waiting to register his first league win at his new club but he has found hope his team can do well this season as other teams around them have struggled, therefore Hughton is targeting fixtures against QPR, Reading and Southampton as potential six pointers.

All Chris Hughton can hope for now is that the International break works in his favour and his players all return injury free and with a fresh mentality and appetite to start winning games and to push Norwich out of the relegation zone. Will we be seeing the famous “Let’s be having “speech? To get the team going.
