This must be just what the Arsenal fans want to hear on the Monday morning after the Gunners' disappointing 2-1 home defeat to local rivals Chelsea. No, it's not a battle cry from Arsene Wenger saying his side will continue fighting for the title. No, it's not reports linking Arsenal with a top quality midfield presence to alleviate the loss of Abou Diaby's never-ending injuries.

No, it's the Sun reporting that Arsenal are interested in 20-year-old Congo-born midfielder Giannelli Imbula of French side Guingamp. Imbula is said to have impressed in his time in France and at 20 years old is hardly a kid. Indeed, Patrick Vieira came to the Gunners at a similar age.

However, just a week after Arsenal released yet another set of impressive financial figures, reports linking them with someone who would evidently come for peanuts is perhaps not the best PR for the club.
