    Granero snubs Gunners

Real Madrid playmaker Esteban Granero could be set to reject a move to Arsenal in favour of joining Malaga.

Reports in Spain state the 24 year-old is going to snub a switch to the Premier League to stay in La Liga.

Granero was linked with moves to the Gunners and to North London rivals Tottenham throughout the summer but remained in Madrid to fight for his place.

However, the Spaniard has seen his first-team opportunities limited at the Bernabeu and could be on his way out in January.

Big spending Malaga look the favourites to get him, as they continue to rebuild their side under new Qatari owners.

That could be the difference between a move to Los Boquerones and Arsene Wenger's side, with Malaga able to offer a very attractive deal for the midfielder.

Would Granero by a good signing for Arsenal, or is it a good thing Malaga look the favourites for his signature?
