This weekend brings with it the fifth round of the FA Cup with Premier League teams being outnumbered 9-6 by lower league teams.
There have been many reports in the press of late to suggest that Arsenal are set to make a January loan move for Lyon playmaker Yoann Gourcuff.
As we approach the halfway point in the 2012/13 season of the Barclays Premier League, the talk surrounding signing of the season has begun to gather pace. So who has been the signing of the season so far?
So while Reading – Arsenal didn’t provide the 12 goal thriller we all witnessed during the Capital One Cup earlier this year, the Premier League duo tried their absolute best to replicate the memorable encounter on Monday evening, netting seven as the Gunners secured a 5-2 win over the Royals to move them within two points of North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

The ambidextrous winger/attacking midfielder can play on both wings and through the centre, giving Arsene a lot of options when deciding where to deploy him. He is a player who possesses speed, magical feet and flair by the bag full, he’s equally adept at dictating the rhythm of a game and his passing is a joy to witness.
Theo Walcott has longed for the chance to have a regular spot as a striker since his arrival at the Emirates in 2006, but Arsene Wenger has continued to frustrate the 23-year old by extending his vexatious time as a wide man.
