Fellaini's Future Could Be Away From Old Trafford - Why The Midfielder May Be Shown The Door At United

It is fair to say that Marouane Fellaini had a disappointing debut year at Old Trafford last season.  The Manchester United midfielder did little to prove he was worth his £27.5 million price tag and will be hoping that the 2014/15 campaign is a vast improvement upon its predecessor.

Fellaini only managed 16 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils after his big-money move from Everton, as David Moyes’ reign as United manager continued to crumble.  The man who took the Belgian with him after leaving the Toffees was sacked after less than 10 months in charge of the club, leading to rumours regarding the player’s future.  According to the Daily Mail, there is a good chance Fellaini could also be heading for an Old Trafford exit.

When a new manager arrives at a club, as Louis van Gaal will do after he is finished with the Netherlands at this summer’s World Cup, new ideas are often implemented and playing and coaching staff are all subject to change.  The Daily Mail are reporting that to be the case with Fellaini, who United’s incoming Dutchman is believed to want sold.

The Belgium international does have quality, but it is important to prove yourself early when playing for a club who have won a record 20 league titles.  Although there may be fans willing to give Fellaini another chance, the decision lies with van Gaal who may not be so generous.

My most memorable Fellaini moment was when he dribbled from our 18 yard line and he finished it....not with a defence splitting pass, but passing the ball to our bench.....classic.....HE IS GOING....but so is Smalling, Cleverley,Young, Nani, Anderson, Zaha, Powell,Carrick,Fletcher, Wellbeck and Chicorito......In the 'maybe going' group will be Valencia, Raphael, Jones and surprisingly Rooney, who may have sweet talked a very weak individual called Moyes into a 300k per week contract but Van Gaal will be the ghost of Christmas Past for the wanna be who never was......At least 6 Dutch players are lined up....all who have played together for quite a while....and an array of Top,Top players..to add ....There are also at least 11 great players in the under 21's whom are hungrier and better than the class of 2013/14.....the worst performing United team EVER!
