Manchester United MUST Get Rid Of Nani - Here's Why

Many of us expected big things from Nani when he signed for Manchester United in 2007 at a cost of £25million, but he has failed to live up to expectations. Their manager David Moyes continues to overlook the Portuguese international and I believe it is time for  the Red Devils to cut their losses and let the 27-year-old leave in the summer.

The coaching staff at Old Trafford had dreams when Nani first signed for the club that he could develop into a player close to the stature of the untouchable Cristiano Ronaldo.

I do not see Nani occupying a place in Moyes’s starting eleven anytime soon so it is best for the player and the club that he seeks a new adventure come the summer.

United are now starting to settle on a consistent midfield which has yielded positive performances and results in the last few weeks. Antonio Valencia is steady on the right-wing whilst exciting youngster Adnan Januzai is able to provide more than enough spectacular moments for the neutral fan.

The former Everton boss continues to overlook Nani in favour of these two players, but also has been giving plenty of playing time to Ashley Young who lacks the quality we so often have associated with the most successful Premier League team of all time.

This in itself is a worrying sign for Nani. He must seek his future elsewhere if he wants to resurrect his career.

Failed to live upto expectations?IN 2010/11 season he showed the world why he was worth £25 million. Granted we don't see it often enough but he still has the ability to do the audacious! His chip vs Bayer was lush!
