THREE Chelsea Players Who Should Be Dropped After Sunderland Defeat

Chelsea look to have blown it. Jose Mourinho's men could have moved top of the Premier League yesterday as they hosted Sunderland, but the Blues fell flat on their faces and lost 2-1 to bottom of the league Sunderland. After a poor display from the Stamford Bridge side, here are three players who I would like to see dropped for their next outing.

    1) Cesar Azpilicueta

Although the penalty was harsh on the Spaniard, his performance throughout was woeful and I think Ashley Cole should come back into the side. As back up left-backs go, Cole has to be the strongest in the Premier League and with Azpilicueta struggling for form I would chuck him back into the mix.

    2) Gary Cahill

It's not often you see Gary Cahill get bullied, but Connor Wickham did just that yesterday and the England centre-half couldn't cope. He did make seven clearances, but all were hopeless punts up field and he looked hesitant on the ball.

There a number of options for Mourinho in the middle of defence, and I think Cahill should be rested.

    3) Oscar

The little Brazilian failed to get a foothold in the game and was hooked in the second half, which tells you a lot about his performance. It was a niggly game and it didn't suit Oscar, but his legs looks heavy and he was out of ideas.

First name I saw and I knew this article was crap!

Insane article. Cahill fantastic yesterday, as always. Dave made a mistake that cost us a goal yes but he's been outstanding all season.

    Nonsense.

we havent seen good performance from blue against sunderland. For me Salahs and bas performance is bad. we hope Eden will come back soon for champions league.

    Cahill was brilliant yesterday.

The author of this post is clearly an absolute idiot. Azpilicueta and Cahill have been fantastic all season. wasn't even a penalty. Oscar was ordinary. But how could Sunderland lose with Mike Dean and his team of Liverpool sympathising linesmen in their pocket?

Doesnt matter, the title is being given to Liverpool by proxy anyway this season. All those dubious penalties and dodgy refs being handed to other title contenders in the last couple months. What a time for them to win the league... Wink wink

    crap comment.. chelsea is fantastic
