THREE Reasons Why Manchester United Will Be Humiliated vs Bayern

Manchester United face the near-impossible tonight as they host current European champions Bayern Munich, who themselves have already claimed the Bundesliga title for the second time running. For me, I can't see past a Bayern win, and here are three reasons why I think they will thrash the red devils.

1) United defence

David Moyes has some work to do tonight to get the backline all on the same hymn sheet. Patrice Evra is suspended, so Alex Buttner will come into play on the left of defence, while Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans are also both doubtful.

With such a ruthless frontline, Bayern could have a field day against a shaky defence.

2) Toni Kroos

We know how effective the central midfielder can be as he tore apart Arsenal in the last round. This season in the Bundesliga he has a pass success of 92% and that rises to over 95% in the Champions League, and it will be him who controls the tempo of the game.

Michael Carrick and Ryan Giggs, who I think should start in the middle of the pitch tonight, will have their work cut out.

3) Current form

Bayern have already won the German topflight this season in record time. They are still unbeaten in the league, they have scored 82 goals in their 28 games and have conceded just 16.

Manchester United on the other hand, are struggling in seventh in the Premier League, have lost six league games at Old Trafford and have a home goal difference of just +3.

This tie is only going one way.
