THREE Key Battles To Look Out For In Manchester United vs Manchester City

Tonight is a huge night in Manchester. David Moyes' Manchester United play host to Manuel Pellegrini's Manchester City in what could define both clubs' seasons. United sit in seventh at present and are looking to break the top four, but a loss this evening could end that chase. City need to start trading their games in hand for points on the board if they are to win the Premier League. Here are three battles we can look forward to tonight.

    1) Toure vs Fellaini

Yaya Toure is the all-round footballer. He has the power and strength to command in the air and outmuscle opponents, but he has incredible footwork and makes things run on the floor. He will be a huge part of the tie, and Manchester United will likely deploy Fellaini to try and contain that.

Fernandinho is crucial to Toure's performances, and I think he will dictate the middle of the pitch and allow Toure to run riot.

    2) Rooney vs Demichelis

We all know what Wayne Rooney can do. His goals at the weekend only reminded us of that. United fans will be excited this evening as the England international is likely to go up against Demichelis, who is shaky at best.

Rooney is stronger, faster and in my opinion that is where United should be targeting.

    3) Navas vs Evra

Evra used to be a rapid full-back whose positional sense made it incredibly difficult for attackers to get past him. Now though he struggles to hold his ground and looks to be already thinking about leaving the club in the summer.

Navas is one of the quickest players in the league and will look to get in behind Evra. For me, this battle will only go one way.
