No Arteta Or Adebayor? Tottenham & Arsenal Combined XI

It's been a tough few weeks for Tottenham, though they have no time to dwell on it as they host bitter rivals Arsenal this afternoon. Ahead of the clash I thought that I would put together a combined 11.

In a 4-2-3-1 formation I would pick Hugo Lloris ahead of any Arsenal goalkeeper.

At right-back would be Bacary Sagna as he has been brilliant this season, and on the left of defence I would choose Jan Vertonghen as is the strength of the central pairing of Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny.

In the two sitting roles I would have Sandro to provide the energy, the bite and that little bit of spice, and next to him I would probably go for Mathieu Flamini, though it would be harsh to rule out Paulinho, Mousa Dembele and Mikel Arteta.

On the right I would have Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain due to his glistening form and on the left I would have Santi Cazorla. As Ozil is injured, I would opt for Christian Eriksen to play in the hole and up top I would have Olivier Giroud.

I think that team would have a nice balance to it, but if you disagree then comment below.

    LLORIS

    KOSCIELNY
    VERTHOGHEN
    GIBBS

    SANDRO
    DEMBELE

    CHAMBERLAIN
    ERIKSEN
    WALCOTT

    GIROUD

I see a red card this pm. Adebayor should be very careful otherwise, he would be shown the way out. Score Arsenal 2-Tot-0. I watched the match yesternight.
