13 Goals In 23 Games: Why Premier League Clubs Should Be Chasing This Striker

It has been reported in the Newcastle Chronicle that Loic Remy will not be staying at current club Queens Park Rangers and will use his remaining games of the season at Newcastle United to showcase his qualities.

The French striker has been in fine form this campaign for his loan club Newcastle but would desire a move in the Summer when his loan deal ends.

"Without being pretentious, I could maybe play in a bigger club, a top European club. I do not know," said Remy.

This is sure to alert several big European clubs to his signature.

Remy's goals record this season is one of the best in the Premier League he has scored 13 goals in 23 games for the Magpies. Remy had been linked with a January move to Arsenal, but no bids came in for the QPR hitman

Remy has made his intentions clear, he favours a move to a big European club and has the talent to play at the very top. He has won many plaudits already this season and has settled very well to life in the English Premier League and it is thought that a fee of around £16 million would be enough to finalise any deal. For me, Premier League clubs should be doing everything they can to land him.

So what would Remy offer to potential suitors?

First and foremost he is a quick player. He has the ability to isolate defenders and attack them and is clinical in front of goal. He's also more than capable of holding the ball up and linking the play with the Midfield.

Most teams tend to operate with a 4-2-3-1 system these days and Remy fits into that shape perfectly.
