Manchester United Ready To Move For Arsenal Target - Here's Why A Move To Old Trafford Would Suit Both Parties

With all the talk of Arsenal looking for a striker, it has led to rumours regarding Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata. However, to land the Spaniard it will take some work, apparently, as Manchester United are also ready to move for his services, according to the Daily Star.

But who is he, and what could he offer the Red Devils?

He's unlike any forward they currently have, for a start. While Wayne Rooney looks to drop deep and make things happen, Javier Hernandez sits in the box and looks to feed off the scraps. And while Robin van Persie is able to scored from nowhere, Danny Welbeck likes to get in behind defences and stretch his legs.

Morata is a player who is strong in the air but is always looking to link up with players. He would work brilliantly with the current crop in my eyes, solely because of the number of balls that United get into the box.

The 21-year-old would also fit in with Moyes' desire to make his own stamp on the club. He's young, he's hungry and is finding his feet in professional, and although he has only scored three goals for Madrid this season, 14 of his 15 appearances have been from the bench.

For me I think it would be a good move for all parties.
