The Next Ronaldo? Januzaj The Highlight Of A Miserable Season For Manchester United

Manchester United are in crisis-mode right now and even a non-football fan can clearly tell that without getting to know more on the topic.

The Red Devils had achieved great success under their former manager Sir Alex Ferguson. However, from the time the great elder stepped down from his post after guiding United win the league last season, it has nothing but ridicule.

David Moyes replaced Ferguson and since the former Everton manager took over the reins at Old Trafford and it has been terrible from the Premier League champions ever since. United were knocked out of all Cup competitions, while they continue to struggle in the league and Champions League.

In the midst of a horrific season as per United standards, the fans will have only a handful of positives to take from this season. One among the small set would be that of the arrival of Adnan Januzaj to a bigger stage.

The 19-year-old made his Premier League debut during United’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in September, a game in which he came from the bench to replace Ashley Young.

However, he was quite some way from being a key player for United. Januzaj made his mark soon after, though, as on 5 October, during the league fixture against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, he struck two superb goals.

The Black Cats took an early lead as from Craig Gardner’s goal and the first half ended with United trailing by a goal. Things changed after the start of the second half as the Moyes’ side pulled an equaliser from a brilliant shot taken by Januzaj outside the box in the 55th minute.

United fans went gaga over the shot taken by the Belgium-born teenager, as Januzaj scored on his full debut for the Old Trafford outfit.

However, that was not the end of it. Who on earth thought there would be another twist? The latest star smashed another one past the Sunderland keeper to score his second goal of the evening, which helped United seal all three points.

Contract rumours started to circulate thereafter.

Januzaj finally ended the speculation surrounding his future and signed a five-year deal with United on 19 October. Since then, the teenager has received a lot of praise and a large number of United fans even started comparing him with Old Trafford legend and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo. Coincidentally, though a little off topic, Januzaj and Ronaldo were born on the same day.

Januzaj has started in 20 league games so far this season and has managed three goals and two assists. He has created 22 chances in the league and is considered to be one of the upcoming stars at Old Trafford.

It is too early for Januzaj to be compared with the Portuguese international, for me, though I believe the winger can achieve greatness as similar to that of Ronaldo’s success if he remains focused on his job.

Irrespective of who will be the manager at United, Januzaj is likely to be the heart of the Red Devils’ team in the near future. Until then we have the services of Wayne Rooney, who recently signed an extension at the club.

Can Januzaj change Theatre of Nightmares to its original name Theatre of Dreams? Only time will answer this.

Official Club Statement. Manchester Football Asylum

Yes, we are looking at several players at the moment. The manager has sent his scouting team out 13 times to watch Messi, Ronaldo, Iniesta, Mangala,Bale,Xavi,Reus,Gundogan,Kroos and Barkley .He is very thorough in his player assessment. He will not waste the club's money on useless players.

He needs players who can join him in his vision of how football should be played. The current batch in the Asylum have stopped responding to his treatment. The Board of Directors are all backing the under fire manager. They feel that they know better than the millions of supporters worldwide who are used to 'Total Football'. Manager Dave Mindless is determined to push his agenda of 'Total Crap' football onto the masses of United fans worldwide.

Editors opinion; It seems that the Coaching staff's lunacy has spread to the board. This manager is to politely put it a 'Numptie' and no one has gone into his CV with any depth. We believe that the 'See you Jimmy' club ,with their 'funny' handshakes and 'head butt' greetings are protecting their own. The 'madness' seems to be catching as other football purists constantly repeat their mantra "He needs time", but do not be fooled by these "speak your weight machines", as all of them are plotting to oust Dave Mindless. Can I suggest that, he does time for the 'poisonous football' he has served up to the world.

CONTINENTAL NEWS; The world's top footballers have issued a statement that a certain Manchester Asylum are not so much scouting them ,but in actual fact are stalking them. Some of the above players maybe in that statement.

BREAKING NEWS......The ex manager is threatening to use the 'belt' he was hit with as a child (The one that made him successful) on the editor of this post.Might we suggest that he uses it on Dave Mindless.
