No Januzaj? How Manchester United Should Line Up Against Olympiakos

Manchester United travel to Greece this evening for their Champions League clash with Olympiakos, but how should they line up? Here's how I would set my team up if I was David Moyes.

The former Everton man likes the 4-4-2 formation, so I will work around that with the players that I believe to be available, though I believe it will be more of a 4-2-3-1.

David De Gea is the natural man to go between the sticks this evening despite his rocky form. The Spaniard is the first choice goalkeeper and I think you must start with your strongest keeper at this stage in the competition.

At right-back I would be looking to use Chris Smalling as Rafael is still injured, and on the other side Patrice Evra has to take the position. In the middle I would probably opt for the old tried and tested combination of Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand.

In the central spots I would have Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick as it gives a nice balance to the side, and I would deploy Wayne Rooney just in front of them to do the running and to link the midfield to the attack.

On the left I would play Shinji Kagawa as I think Januzaj needs to be kept fresh for the league, and have Antonio Valencia on the right.

Up top I'd unleash Robin van Persie.

United fans, how would you line up?

Januzaj doesn't need a rest. Why do people assume that young players need to be rested all the time? Rooney, Ronaldo and Giggs played every game when they were 19.

Moyes needs to stop changing the team around so much. We should play the same front six as we did at the weekend except for replacing the cup-tied Mata with Kagawa (who plays well in European games - the slower pace suits him).
