No Barton? 5 Championship Players Who Could Be Ready For A Move To The Premier League

After 24 Championship games being played, we are now going into the business end of the season. As teams are scurrying around looking for potential bargains to strengthen their sides, I have chosen five players who I think are good enough to make the jump to the Premier League.

    1) Liam Briductt - Brighton

The holding midfield was a big reason for the Seagulls finishing fourth last season. Despite the Sussex club missing out on promotion in the play-offs, they are going strong again and are level on points with 6th-placed Ipswich, with Bridcutt coming back into the side after a hernia problem.

He is an intelligent player who works hard to win the ball back for his team and break up attacks, but is also very able on it.

    Suggested clubs: Sunderland, Aston Villa

    2) Danny Ings - Burnley

The 21-year-old has lit up the second division this season with his 15 goals in just 23 league games. The confident forward has struck a sensational partnership with Sam Vokes and together the pair have shot the Clarets up to second in the league.

Ings is remarkably good in the air.

Suggested clubs: Crystal Palace, West Ham

    3) Will Hughes - Derby

A skilful player with the vision of someone who has bossed La Liga for a number of years, Hughes really is a wonderful outlet. He is creative, he's quick and has a wonderful way of beating people.

Still only 18, Hughes has played 21 league games this season, scoring three and setting up four.

Suggested clubs: Liverpool, Tottenham, Aston Villa

    4) Tom Ince - Blackpool

The winger is available on a free in the summer and I expect him to leave his current club Blackpool. After a scorching season last time out, Ince has scored seven and created six this time round under his dad's guidance.

Suggested clubs: Fulham, Crystal Palace, Cardiff

    5) Jordan Rhodes - Blackburn

The Scotland international has every attribute needed to play in the Premier League and it with Rovers looking as though promotion is again off the cards, this month could be when he finally moves.

He has scored 42 in 73 games for Blackburn overall, which includes 16 in his 26 games this season.

Suggested Clubs: West Ham, Hull, Newcastle
