THREE Manchester United Players Who Should Be Dropped After Swansea Loss

Manchester United fans are probably wincing as they read this right now, but their home record now stands at four losses in six outings. David Moyes is really struggling right now the pressure is mounting on his back after United's 2-1 loss to Swansea in the FA Cup. It was a dismal display and Swansea deserved their victory, something which will only make it more difficult for the United fans to stomach. Here are three players who I think should be dropped for their next outing against Sunderland in the cup on Tuesday.

    1) Anders Lindegaard

It's all well and good opting to play some fringe players, but if those players don't step up and perform to a reasonable level then it makes the manager look like a bit of a fool. Just look at Sam Allardyce after his West Ham side lost 5-0 to Nottingham Forest.

He doesn't look confident when organising his back line and he certainly doesn't fill the crowd with happiness when the ball is at his feet. Against Swansea his distribution was off and he flapped a few times.

    2) Danny Welbeck

The striker has been in good form of late but for me I would rest him for the game in midweek. He looked sloppy against Swans - his touch was off, he was weak in the air, and although his passing was steady, he was muscled out of possession a few times.

    3) Chris Smalling

For me, Smalling needs a rest. His performances have looked more energetic than we are used to seeing from him and it's taken its toll, it seems. Against Swansea his timing was poor and his passing was even worse, something that the Swansea forwards fed off of.
