Could Italy Veterans Play In World Cup?

There could be a few surprise entries for the Italian national side for the World Cup tournament in Rio. This being former Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero, Roma veteran striker Francesco Totti and new signing for Verona Luca Toni.

The Italian boss has called in Luca Toni for the next qualifier for Italy against Bulgaria as AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli is suspended along with Southampton new signing Pablo Osvaldo. The towering striker for Verona, in my opinion, still has the capabilities to be the feared forward because of his height and strength.

Sydney FC striker Alessandro Del Piero has been surprisingly called up for another cap for the Azzurri as he was a stand out striker for the Sky Blues last season and also was their leading goal-scorer for the team, with 14 goals in 24 appearances. In my opinion, he will fit in perfectly just behind the 2 strikers if Prandelli decides to play 4-3-1-2 creating scoring opportunities and mastering the dead ball situations

The Roman vetern Francesco Totti will be a perfect fit for the Azzurri as well as he will create the vibe of winning and winning in style. Totti will be positioned same as Del Piero as the Italin boss Prandelli will have an arsenal of strike-power on the bench.

I hope that these 3 veteran superstars get named in the full 23 man squad so they could be sent off in style as adding another cap to their international careers.
