Real Madrid Ready To Let Trio Leave, But Would Bale And Suarez Be Enough?

As the Gareth bale saga drags on (zzz) new reports are surfacing that Real Madrid are having trouble funding the deal. Whilst we have no idea how true this is, we have dissected the news that Los Blancos are ready to offer three of their players to the Premier League to make some money available - Mesut Ozil, Angel Di Maria and Karim Benzema. The Daily Mail are reporting that Arsenal are interested in all three of the players, which will likely come to nothing, but are the three worth getting rid of for Gareth Bale and Luis Suarez, who the paper are also suggesting is on his way to the Santiago Bernabeu?

Between the aforementioned trio last season, they scored 27 goals - Bale and Suarez racked up 44 - and accumulated 177 chances to the Premier League duo's 164.

Madrid would ultimately be replacing Benzema with Luis Suarez, which would certainly be an improvement, but I'm not sure Bale is worth both Di Maria and Ozil, especially as the latter produced 91 key passes last season (including 13 assists).

Ozil is a just a year older than the Welshman, and the difference in price tag is not warranted, in my opinion. Ozil does not hold the power that Bale does, but his creativity is far superior.

Madrid do have Isco, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric on their books, though, so it's not like they're in any shortage of quality. So the swoop could prove to be a good one, and may even earn them that elusive Champions League trophy that they've been longing for.
