Remembering Carlos Tevez - Manchester City's Loss Is Italy's Gain

When Carlos Tevez departed the Etihad for Juventus in the summer, Manchester City lost one of the most talented frontmen they've had at the club for a long, long time. They may not like to admit it, but the Argentine was incredible during his early years at the club.

His work-rate and his drive were what he was admired for, as well as his remarkable ball control and composure in front of goal. Tevez could pick the ball up from anywhere on the field and test the keeper or split a defence.

The 29-year-old scored 73 goals in his 138 games in a City shirt, but he will be remembered for the wrong reasons.

His attitude sparked anger across the blue half of Manchester when he refused to come on as a substitute one evening in Munich, and the red half weren't too happy with his actions either. When City dramatically won the title in the 2011/12 season, Tevez displayed a 'RIP Fergie' banner during the celebrations.

Controversy has followed the former West Ham goal-getter wherever he has been, but after trying for a move for the last few years he finally switched to Serie A a few weeks ago.

Since arriving in Turin, Tevez has scored two in two, once being in the league.
