3 light-hearted reasons Luis Suarez should not join Arsenal

With Arsenal's cheeky £40,000,001m bid for Luis Suarez enough to be able to discuss a move with the Liverpool forward, we take a look at three light-hearted reasons why the niggly Uraguayan should stay away from Arsene Wenger and his troops.

    1) The English Media

After all, it was the sole reason that the striker asked to leave Anfield, was it not? Suarez claimed that he had had it up to here *points at his gnashers* with the English press and that a move to sunnier shores would be beneficial to his blood pressure.

Maybe so, but now what can he pin his decision to move on? Maybe he wants a chance to play for a side recently decorated in silverware... Oh.

    2) Liverpool fans don't take kindly to traitors

Remember the Fernando Torres Debacle when he packed his bags and made his big money move to capital side Chelsea? Liverpool fans were burning shirts, flags and anything remotely Spanish in an attempt to let their feelings known.

But their star striker surely can't leave them for London again, can he? Imagine the uproar when the goofy forward rolls up at Anfield in an Arsenal shirt. There would be riots.

A standard evening in Liverpool, then...

    3) The Spanish capital is calling

With Gonzalo Higuain on the cusp on a move away from Real Madrid, it leaves Carlo Ancelotti with just Karim Benzema as a recognised forward. Unless you're one of those who consider Cristiano Ronaldo as a centre-forward, which he is not.

Suarez has the talent to be a hero at the Santiago Bernabeu, so why on earth would he trade that to intensify his villain status with a move to a club which has won less major trophies than Wigan Athletic in the last seven years?
