Andy Carroll Hammer Bound?

With a fee agreed weeks ago, any finalising touches have been postponed after Carroll had gone away on holiday to think over his prospects and future. With a season of first team football under his belt and some top end performances towards the end of the season, saw Andy’s stock rise again in English football and his form was rewarded with an England call up, games he didn’t see action in due to injury, an injury reportedly ruling him out for up to four months. So with his reputation and form on the rise is Andy Carroll West Ham bound?

His time at Liverpool is almost certainly at an end, with a fee agreed at £15 million with West Ham and with no reported interest from his boyhood club Newcastle, it seems the only way for Carroll to better himself is at the east end club. After a loan spell which saw him taken in and made a focal point of the hammers team last season, West Ham surely is the first and best option for Andy to ply his trade for years to come, but does the man himself think that? When he left Newcastle originally, it was apparently on the clubs term, not his, now his torrid time at Liverpool it is once again on the clubs terms, for different reasons of course this time, the double edged sword of money has come full circle for Andy Carroll, forced from his native Newcastle because of the ludicrous amount being offered for him and now being hushed and ushered towards the exit door of Anfield, because the Merseyside club want to cut their losses and run, understandable for a man who scored eleven goals in fifty eight games for them. This I where West Ham come into play, with the big man playing twenty three games and scoring seven goals, his form has seen an improvement and with his talents actually appreciated in Big Sam’s team, surely his place and future belongs at Upton Park.

So whether the reported £100,000 a week wage persuades him and the chance to be West Ham’s number nine is enough to turn his head. One thing is for certain is that Sam Allardyce won’t wait around much longer for his man, with a £14.5 million bid for Alvaro Negrado rejected earlier this week, whether or not that was an attempt to play Carroll and his agent’s hand, a decision should be imminent and for such a young man, a lot rests on his next move, potentially making or breaking his career.

Carroll is a Mercenary,and he's holding signing for West Ham just to get Newcastle to make a better offer.But Liverpool will never deal with that club again EVER.Word is if he doesn't sign for west ham,he's going straight into the Reserves for the 3 years he has left on his Liverpool contract.

Getting a bit tired of all this! I know you shouldn't have your head turned by gossip but the Carroll transfer is dragging on far to long now. Everything possible indicates that West Ham are the best option but still he hasn't signed! Beginning to agree he is just a greedy bastard who never wanted the Hammers in the first place. If so, then he can do one and good riddance! Hope he rots in the reds reserves! With the money we were willing to waste on him we could get two top class strikers and that's what we should now be doing! COYI!
