Who will win the Fifa World Cup 2014?

The count-down is on for the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Rio. The main questions are, Who will win? Who will stand out? Who are the favourites?

The obvious favourite are the Spanish national side who have a great number of stars at their disposal. The Euro 2012 tournament showed just that, by defeating the Azzurri in the final to go back to back in victories from the World Cup and the Euro 2012. Spain have a very dangerous midfield which ultimately broke down the Italian structure as the Azzurri was looking to go the one better. Star players: Andres Iniesta, Xavi, and Fernando Torres

The Azzurri are looking to capitalise on their younger players, such as Mario Balotelli, Mattia Destro, Stephan El-Shaarawy, Marco Verratti and many others who hope to make the squad in Rio. The Italians played a really strong game in the Euro 2012 tournament but to everyone's amazement after eliminating Germany, they could not dispose of Spain.

Germany, having two Champions league teams representing them will feel good about their squad as they are performing very well for their respective teams. They still have the structure and drive to drain the energy out of opponents when they play and it works to their benefit. Star players: Thomas Muller, Mario Gomez, Bastian Schweinsteiger

They are many other European giants such as England who are look very strong in every tournament but cannot advance further. They have all the talent and experience to go that extra mile to achieve the grand prize. Star players: Theo Walcott, Ashley Young, Wayne Rooney

The South American teams will feature alot of stars such as Neymar, Edison Cavani, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Lionel Messi, just to name a few and we all know what these players are capable of.

So to all the football fans out their who will win??
