Former Arsenal midfielder has the two Manchester clubs chasing his signature in £25m deal

Arsenal fans must be in despair right now. Their one-time favourite Cesc Fabregas is on the way out of one of the biggest clubs on the planet and they have next to no chance in getting him back. What makes it worse is that the two Manchester clubs, City and United, are the two hot favourites in securing his signature, according to the Daily Mail.

It is okay Gunners, you can always get your picture with him when you visit the city.

Arsenal have had their '£70m war chest' slapped across the back of every paper in the last few months but unless they spend the money wisely then they could be stuck in a similar position as they are in now, looking to get rid of the deadwood in the squad.

Manchester United are desperate to solidify the middle of their team and David Moyes has the finances to do it, but going up against a club like City who are likely to throw trillions of pounds a week at someone then it makes the race more exciting.

Red or blue? United or City? Moyes or ...  Pellegrini?

Fabregas is available for around £25m as Barcelona try to reshape their squad to regain European power.

What a stupid article Arsenal have first refusal on Cesc meaning that if Barca were to sell him we get to decide if we want him or not we also get half of the sell on if he leaves Barca because of a clause written in his current contract so the Manchester clubs would have to double any bid we put in to be of financial gain to Barca this will also put the Manchester clubs off pretty much handing money to Arsenal. So congrats, you have shown us how mediocre this really is.

why would he go to arsenal when he can come to united lad

Arsenal will forever be in our shadow. We can take who we want from your squad and you can do nothing about it Arsene. Welcome to Manchester Cesc
