Chelsea willing to let big money man leave this summer

SHOCK! Chelsea are trying to get rid of Fernando Torres after the £50m transfer has scored just seven goals in this year's Premier League. SEVEN. He has had a better time in Europe, netting 15, but considering his mega wages then he can certainly be labelled as a overrated, overpriced footballer.

It is a shame that the dynamic frontman that we were privileged to witness whilst playing for Atletico Madrid and Liverpool has turned into somewhat of a joke, but the price tag was never going to be easy to live up to and when you're carrying something that hefty round on your back then even the likes of John O'Shea will get the better of you.

Since making his switch to west London in 2011 Torres has been lambasted with abuse and is said to be said the teacher's pet, if you will, as a result with the admiration Chelsea chief Roman Abramovic holds of the Spaniard.

Perhaps a move back to his hometown with Atleti would suit all parties as they look sure to lose the services to Radamel Falcao over the summer, maybe even to Chelsea. In my opinion, which means very little, people waiting for Torres to return to his former self will be waiting a very, very long time.

Still, Blues fans can look forward to the return of Romelu Lukaku at the end of the season.
