Juventus ready to pounce for striker - everything you need to know about 25-year-old goal machine

The current Italian champions Juventus are looking to bolster their attack with strikers all around Europe, one of the names that are floating around is Real Madrid Striker Gonazalo Higuain.

The Argentinian star signed for the Spanish giants from River Plate back in 2007 and he has scored over 100 goals for the Los Blancos.

If the Bianconeri can capture this type of player, he would fit in very well with fellow new recruit Fernando Llorente from Athletic Bibao. The strike partnership that they will make is yet to be known, but I am sure that the current Juventus midfield structure would please these two strikers with the likes of Arturo Vidal, Andrea Pirlo, Claudio Marchisio and relevation Paul Pogba.

It was claimed that the Juventus directors and coach were present for the semi-final clash of Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund and it was the whole reason why they attended to catch a glimpse of their potential future scoring star.

In his current team, Higuain has been down the pecking order with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema being selected ahead of him in the starting eleven.

The 25-year-old has bagged 107 goals in 187 appearances, which makes great statistics for Juventus as they need a consistent scoring machine such as him.
