Are Chelsea finally seeing the old Fernando Torres? (Video)

I've watched a lot of Chelsea this season, mostly to watch the 'three amigos', but also to keep a close eye on the £50million let down that is Fernando Torres.

A lot, and I mean a lot, has been said about Torres since his move to North London and I'll be the first to admit that I've thrown buckets of abuse at the Spaniard.

However, in recent months the once golden-haired striker has improved drastically and is looking like his old self.

I know what you are thinking, how many times has someone said this? And how many times has Torres put in one impressive performance, followed by ten stinkers, I know.

But this time 'El Nino' has been consistently good over a period of eight or nine games, looking especially impressive in the Europa League.

He not only looks happier and like he's once again interested in football, he looks much fitter and faster than he has done for a while.

Is this sudden change in Fernando something to do with the man who stole him from Spain in the first place? Is it to do with Benitez's presence at the club? The 'Benitez effect'? Who knows.

Yes, this may be another premature Torres story, but listen when I say I haven't seen a Fernando like this since he was wearing the red of Liverpool.

What was that like, you ask? It was like this, remember?
