    Can Chelsea save their season?

There is never a dull moment on the Kings Road is there?

Chelsea's season, like many under owner Roman Abramovich's reign, has been full of drama and controversy but, as always, come season's end there is still a chance to win silverware.

Chelsea are currently up at around the sixty game mark of a very long season but here they are, once again, challenging for the trophy they have made their own over the past six years.

If Rafael Benitez is able to guide the Blues to a fifth FA cup success in seven years then they will certainly be a sense of personal vindication for the Spaniard having been vilified by the club's own fans for most of the campaign.

In the FA Cup, too, they looked to be down and out in the quarter finals having conceded twice in the opening 20 minutes to Manchester Unitedat Old Trafford but they were able to force a replay during which Demba Ba's moment of brilliance helped ensure a safe passage to Wembley.

They come up against Manchester Cityside who are looking to salvage something from what has been a disappointing season for Roberto Mancini's men, too.

The reality is that they have handed the title back to United and Mancini will want to make sure that at least one piece of silverware is claimed this season.

Chelsea must fancy their chances, however, having enjoyed a stranglehold on this competition for the better part of a decade.

It will be a fascinating match with two of the best squads in Europe going head to head but, for me, Chelsea will just edge it because they always do in the FA Cup.
