    Is Mancini being ushered out?

The support surrounding the Italian boss Roberto Mancini has quietened in the last few weeks from upstairs. The vultures appear to be circling and looking to take over his job.

Ronald Koeman has been the latest name to be linked and knock the rumours away as any manager with a burgeoning reputation in Europe is being reported as taking the role in the summer.

Mancini has never managed to crack the Champions League, which the Man City owners will feel can take them to the next level, and with a gap emerging between then and Man United they may be concerned.

They may have to back their man at the helm for the near future though as a big name does not look to be eyeing up the role.

If we are realistic, then, Mourinho is likely to end up at Chelsea should he leave Real Madrid this summer.

The Man City board rewarded Roberto Mancini with a bumper five year deal at the end of last season after he delivered the Premier League title. It appears now is the time to illustrate their faith in the long term project and why he was given such a lucrative deal.

A summer transfer window could finally reignite this Premier League giant to the title once more.

Is this Just Make Stuff Up Week?

Is this all you can come up with?

You should be ashamed of yourself?

How about "Fergie is finding it much harder these days" or "RVP only 1 goal in 9 will make him RIP"

    etc etc etc.
