Friday Night Football - AC Milan vs Parma

Mario Balotelli is showing Roberto Mancini exactly why City should've given him maybe just one more chance, after scoring 3 goals in his first 2 appearances for AC Milan.

Currently occupying 5th position in Serie A, a win tonight could see the club climb above city rivals and Balotelli's previous employers Inter Milan.

Balotelli, El Shaarawy and Niang create an exciting and young attacking line for Milan and one would expect all three to be in tonight's starting eleven, especially as fellow striker Pazzini remained sidelined.

Milan's Riccardo Montilivo will return to the side after a games suspension as the team attempt to keep up their impressive 2013 form, which has seen them still unbeaten this new year.

Parma come into this fixture knowing that a win could see them leap frog AS Roma in 9th spot. But with no win in their previous five games, picking up a result away at the San Siro seems unlikely. Parma can welcome back two players from suspension though, with defender Aleandro Rosi and midfielder Marco Marchionni returning.

With September's reverse fixture ending in a 1-0 Parma win, AC Milan will certainly be out to return the favour. Should AC Milan play their strongest side, which they may not do because of this weeks Champions League fixture, they should have a comfortable victory. However, despite Parma's form of late, when they need to perform they certainly can turn heads.
